Community policy
What is welcome here, what is not, and how to report what does not belong.
What's welcome
- Reflections on ayat — your honest reaction to a verse, what you understood, a question it raised.
- Du'a requests, kind encouragement, sharing what helped you keep your wird.
- Asking questions in good faith.
- Sharing what touched you — even when it's small, even when it's personal.
What's not
- Hate speech, harassment, threats.
- Sectarian attacks on other Muslims.
- Misrepresenting the Quran, hadith, or the consensus of scholarship as if it were your own teaching.
How to report
Every reflection, every announcement, and every profile has a … menu. Tap it, choose Report, pick the reason, and (if it helps) add a short note. Reports go to a small group of reviewers — usually within a day.
You can also block someone from their profile. Blocking is bidirectional: neither of you sees the other. You can unblock at any time.
How to appeal
If your account was suspended or your reflection was hidden and you think the decision was wrong, contact us — Salah reads every appeal personally.
